Sunday afternoon

Sunday morning I woke up early and touched base with a friend about the morning plans. I made my plan and gave no option to my man. He realized he'd been outwitted and acquiesced without a fight and off we went to brunch with my friend and 5 of her friends. A wonderful time was had by all! Hooray!

Afterwards, we dropped Alan off so he could work on some projects and went as a group to PS1 to take a look at some art and to see the confetti installation before it comes down at the end of the month. On Sundays, PS1 hosts their Sunday Sessions. We managed to catch a bit of Lucky Dragons set in the vw dome, which was cool, and then we went and explored the exhibition halls. My absolute favorite piece of the day was a film called "Desniansky Raion" from Cyprien Gaillard's exhibition "The Crystal World". So super cool. The artist will actually be doing a Sunday Session at the museum in a couple of weeks before the exhibition comes down and I think I'm going to go. Here's a video of Gaillard talking about the piece when it was shown at the Tate in 2009:
