The past two weeks of work have been so busy. It's kind of crazy. I've been coming home with my brain completely wiped, ready to do nothing but cook food, watch tv, read a book and go to bed. Brain dead, and there's little sign of slowing down for a couple more weeks yet.
Over the weekend, I went with a dear friend to the wilds of northeast Connecticut (seriously, we were in the middle of idyllic nowhere!) to help work on some projects for her upcoming wedding celebration. Wedding! Yay! We had a great time but other than a late afternoon walk on Saturday, I didn't take any photos of anything that can be shared on a public forum. Very top secret projects were completed, to be revealed in June.
My friend's parents' home is a beautiful historic building in a small historic town where everything is old and lovely. We walked the dogs down the road to check out a cemetery and enjoy the gorgeous weather. Here are some snaps...

Isn't it stunning?! Evidently it has all sorts of awesomeness to it, like an elevator and I can't even remember what else. I definitely fell hard for that one.
